Notes:

This project for me really hard due to me not being able to quickly navigate through the Unity menus. Implementing custom interactions and behaviors for the switches and gates required a deeper understanding of scripting in Unity. Overcoming scripting challenges, such as ensuring proper interaction detection and gate manipulation, was a significant hurdle. Adjusting the behavior of switches and gates without frustrating players required iteration. Gates weren't always working the way they were supposed to, so I've spent hours trying to fix them. Integrating the puzzle seamlessly into the experience and creating platformer sections that were relatively easy to complete but not too tiresome were a challenge.

But designing and implementing the game's mechanics provided opportunities for creative problem-solving. Finding innovative ways to challenge players while keeping the gameplay engaging and intuitive was both rewarding and exciting. The iterative development process allowed for improvement and refinement of the experience. Each playtest provided valuable insights.  Integrating the mechanics into the larger game experience, was an exciting opportunity to enhance the gameplay provided by the asset kit. 

Despite encountering challenges along the way, the process of creating puzzles was a fulfilling journey that showcased the power of Unity and the 2D Game Kit for game development. I was able to overcome obstacles and create a level that I like myself, even though some of the things I did weren't looking the way I envisioned them .

Outcome: a small level where I encapsulated most of my ideas from Project A.
